Dave in 1998
Dave DuBois
I am beginning my sixth year as the pilot and co-owner of the team 29 car. I raced for three years in the Street Stock class at Woodhull Raceway before making the jump to the Super Stock class at Black Rock Speedway. While racing Street Stocks, I accumulated several heat wins and numerous top five finishes.
In my rookie season (1999) at Black Rock, I finished second in the rookie of the year points battle. Although a victory eluded me, I did manage a couple top 5 finishes. We finished 15th in the overall points battle for 2000.
Personal Information
I reside in Bath NY, with my wife Dianna and our four children, Brandon, Ryan, David and Joshua. I am currently employed as a Criminal Investigator for the Village of Bath Police Department. I am also a volunteer firefighter for the Bath Fire Department. I enjoy snowmobiling and spending time with my family.
See you at the ROCK! Dave.

1995
DuBois Racing began in 1995. We teamed up with Jeff "boom, boom" Baroody from Bath, NY. Jeff gave us our first car and was helpful in building our team into a consistent finisher. 1995 was a typical rookie year. We wanted to go faster after obtaining our first victory, so we changed power plants in hopes of going faster. Unfortunately, it was disastrous! We started having more engine troubles than any one team can endure. The season finally came to an end and we recorded our first top twenty in the final standings.
1997
After a one-year sabbatical, the team regrouped for 1997. We recorded five heat wins, but a feature win eluded us again. Our chassis (which weighed 3900lbs!) was a consistent top fifteen car every Saturday. It was like a tank out there. We finished 13th in the final standings for 1997.
1998
The team was optimistic for 1998. With an improved chassis and power plant, the team set its goal toward the illustrious feature win. In two separate races, we were leading towards the end of the race when trouble struck. The first such race, we experienced a flat tire with three laps remaining. In the second misfortune, we blew a transmission after leading 17 of the 20 laps. Our final point standing was 13th once again.
1999
1999 began our rookie season in the Super Stock division at Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY. We purchased a motor from E&C Racing and a used chassis from another Friday night racer. Our goal was to compete for rookie of the year honors. We compiled a handful of top five finishes on our way to a 15th place finish in the final point standings. We also finished second in rookie of the year points.
2000
The team had a rough 2000 season. We experienced mechanical failure in more than half the races we competed in. After a long season the DuBois Racing super stock finished 15th in the final point standings.
2001
The team powered it's way to a tenth place showing in the final standings. In what was perhaps the teams best year so far, we are regrouping for 2002. The team has added a new engine builder to take over the power plant. It was felt by team members that this was the area we were lacking most in. With 5 heat wins and 7 top 5's, DuBois Racing showed all that they can run up front and be competitive. With a little luck that first victory is not far off.

2001 The team finished tenth in the points battle for the 2001 season. We recorded 5 heat wins and 7 top 5 feature finishes. The team recorded it's best finish at Black Rock on July 13th with a 2nd place showing. We are getting closer to victory lane! We would like to say thanks to all those who make DuBois Racing possible and we are looking forward to the 2002 season.
